Electrical wiring simulator

Practise electrical wiring online before touching a real board.

WireMate helps apprentices build circuits, test readings, clean up wiring and work through faults in a browser-based simulator. See it work, then start practising.

No lock-in. Cancel anytime. Practise instantly after email confirmation. The simulator works best on a computer or laptop.

Build real circuits

Practise one-way lighting, two-way switching, fans and multi-gang layouts in the real WireMate workspace.

Practise safely

Make mistakes in a low-voltage educational simulator before the pressure of a real board.

Learn by doing

Connect terminals, clean up wiring, measure readings and follow the circuit until the logic clicks.

Built for practice

Turn wiring theory into circuits you can test.

Wiring simulator

Build circuits in the browser and see how active, neutral, earth and load connections behave.

Two-way switching

Practise the logic behind common switching circuits before you wire them in real life.

Meter testing

Use measurement examples to connect what you see on the board with what the meter reads.

Fault finding

Follow symptoms, test points and wiring paths until the fault makes sense.

Wiring standards

Practise with Australian wiring concepts in mind.

WireMate is designed for study practice around circuit logic, protection, earthing, testing and fault-finding themes connected to AS/NZS 3000:2018, the Australian/New Zealand Wiring Rules.

AS/NZS 3000:2018 aware

Practise wiring concepts around circuit design, protection, earthing, testing and verification themes connected to the Australian/New Zealand Wiring Rules.

Built for study practice

Use WireMate to build confidence with the logic behind circuits before applying official standards, workplace procedures and supervised training.

Safety-first wording

WireMate is simulation only. It does not make real equipment safe and it does not replace licensed supervision, RTO material or the official standard.

Simulator demos

See the exact workflows apprentices practise.

Neat Mode in the WireMate wiring simulator

Neat Mode

Compare messy wiring with a cleaner routed version of the same circuit.

Measurement practice in the WireMate wiring simulator

Measurement practice

Use probe placement and meter readings to understand what the circuit is doing.

Fault-finding in the WireMate wiring simulator

Fault-finding

Inspect symptoms, follow the conductors and use testing hints to diagnose the fault.

Advanced practice

Pro Mode adds deeper testing and fault-finding practice.

WireMate Pro AC testing simulator workspace

AC testing practice

Work through supply, protection, load and meter examples in a more advanced simulator workspace.

WireMate Pro fault diagnosis simulator workspace

Fault diagnosis

Use realistic symptoms and testing logic to narrow down where a circuit has gone wrong.

WireMate Pro expanded electrical component library

Expanded components

Practise with a wider range of electrical components while keeping the same WireMate feel.

Quick answers

FAQ

Who is WireMate for?

WireMate is built for electrical apprentices and students who want to practise wiring logic online.

Is WireMate a real electrical training replacement?

No. It is an educational low-voltage simulator and does not replace licensed training, supervision, Australian Standards or site procedures.

What happens after the trial?

After the 3-Day Free Trial, WireMate continues at $5.99 AUD/month unless cancelled before the trial ends.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. You can manage cancellation from your account subscription portal.

Do I need to install software?

No. WireMate runs online in the browser, so you can practise from your account.

What can I practise?

You can practise switching, circuit layout, measurement examples, Neat Mode and fault-finding workflows.

Does WireMate include wiring standards?

WireMate uses high-level Australian wiring practice themes, including AS/NZS 3000:2018 Wiring Rules concepts. It does not reproduce official standards text and should be used alongside your RTO, employer, licensed supervisor and the official standard.
