Plain-English terms for using WireMate as an educational simulator.
Educational simulator
WireMate is an educational low-voltage wiring simulator for learning and practice. It is designed to help users understand wiring logic in a safe simulated environment.
Not professional advice
WireMate does not replace licensed electrical training, Australian Standards, workplace procedures, supervision, legal advice, or electrical advice from a qualified person.
Real electrical work
Users must not use WireMate as the sole basis for real electrical work. Real electrical work must only be performed by authorised people following the correct laws, standards and site procedures.
Account rules
You are responsible for keeping your login details safe and for activity on your account. Do not share access, misuse the service or attempt to interfere with WireMate systems.
Subscription and trial rules
WireMate may offer a 3-day free trial followed by a $14.99 AUD monthly subscription unless cancelled before the trial ends. Subscription access depends on successful payment and account status.
One free trial only
Each user is allowed one free trial. If a user cancels and returns later, another free trial may not be provided and the subscription may begin without a new trial period.
Acceptable use
Do not use WireMate for unlawful, unsafe, abusive, fraudulent or disruptive purposes. Do not copy, reverse engineer or resell WireMate content or simulator access without permission.
Simulator availability
WireMate aims to provide reliable access, but simulator availability may be affected by maintenance, updates, internet issues, payment provider issues or technical problems.
Limitation of liability
WireMate is provided for educational practice. To the extent allowed by law, WireMate is not responsible for losses caused by relying on the simulator for real electrical work or by using the service outside its intended educational purpose.
